Talon Goodies

Today my copy of Talon by Julie Kagawa along with some other Talon goodies (A Huge poster!! Rogue Sneak preview and a Dragon Egg in a necklace!) came through the post! I won these through a twitter giveaway. Thank you @Mira Ink!

That means a new series for me to get started on and I really do hope I enjoy it as I LOVE Julie's Iron Fey series.

New Netgalley Book!

I found an interesting title on Netgalley for which I've just been approved for so hopefully I can get started on reading that this week too. :)

Title: Awake
Author: Natasha Preston
Published: August 4th 2015
Publisher: Sourcebooks Fire
Scarlett doesn’t remember anything before the age of five. Her parents say it’s from the trauma of seeing her house burn down, and she accepts the life they’ve created for her without question—until a car accident causes Scarlett to start remembering pieces of an unfamiliar past. When a new guy moves into town, Scarlett feels an instant spark. But Noah knows the truth of Scarlett’s past, and he’s determined to shield her from it...because Scarlett grew up in a cult called Eternal Light, controlled by her biological parents. And they want her back.

Random Question

This week’s random question asks…

Do you prefer Hardcover, Trade Paperback, or Mass Market Paperback? Why?

My favourite are Trade Paperbacks because the text is much easier to read and the whole feel of the book just feels so literary! Hardcovers are fine too but they're a lot harder (and heavier!) to carry around and I like to be able to carry on reading on journeys as that means I can read a lot more!

I don't have anything against Mass Market Paperback, in fact I prefer them to Hardcovers for the very same reason as tradebacks. The paper is significantly lower quality but it doesn't affect me much when I'm reading.

Although I do love a good hardcover when it's one of my favourite books that I want o preserve for like forever! Because then I know it'll be intact and I do like my books in pristine condition so that would be a must if I'm keeping it!

How about you?

Aiysha :)
